    Come to the Cabaret!

    The unique gDA Cabaret will take place on the last Friday night of every month here at the Borough Halls. With a traditional cabaret setting featuring table service for drinks and ringside seats, plus a House Band and Compère, it’s a great night out and a genuinely sociable way to enjoy dance in performance.

Rehearsal space for dance artists and companies

gDA offers subsidised rehearsal space to dance artists and companies. This term, companies rehearsing at gDA include; Henry Oguike Dance Company, Random Dance Company, Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company, Dance United.

Borough Hall

General information: The Borough Hall has a semi-sprung wooden floor. A tape/CD player is available.

Auditorium: 21m x 21m (64ft x 64ft)

Stage: 6m x 6m (20ft x 20ft)

Price: £12 per hour

Minor Hall

General information: The Minor Hall has a semi-sprung wooden floor. A tape/CD player is available.

Auditorium: 13m x 13m (40ft x 40ft)

Stage: 6m x 6m (20ft x 20ft)

Price: £10 per hour

Studio 3

General information: Studio 3 has a vinyl dance floor laid on top of the original parquet and so this space is better suited to floor-based or theatrical work and is also available to hire for meetings. A tape/CD player is available.

Space: 9.84m x 4.21 - 5.16m (32.28ft x 13.81 – 16.93ft)

Price: £6 - £15 per hour
